I started this journey straight after covid, I was furloughed for 3 months and spent quality time with my son then I had to go back to working 6 days a week but I quickly missed that quality time with him. So I bought a car and started working with a well know taxi service in Exmouth a well established and trusted company that has been servicing Exmouth for more than 30 years. I choose the hours I work and I can spend quality time with my son which I feel very lucky for. 

So why start Cranbrook Cabs? 

Easy! every time I take anyone from Exmouth to Cranbrook its always the same thing why are you so much cheaper than an Exeter taxi .

We are Licenced by East Devon District Council (same as Cranbrook) and they set the tariff, when you book in Cranbrook from an Exeter based company tariff's are set by Exeter City council so they can and do add a booking charge even if they are only coming from the airport!!

ALL OUR DRIVERS ARE SELF EMPLOYED AND CHOOSE THEIR OWN HOURS SO THEY CAN HAVE A GOOD WORK LIFE BALANCE.

All Drivers HAVE TO BE fully Hackney Carriage Licenced

 by East Devon District Council.

All drivers must pass the following to obtain their Licence:

Eye Test

Medical

Extended  Driving Test

Enhanced DBS check

That is the requirement for ALL EDDC Licenced Taxi Drivers.

You can flag us down as long as we are within EDDC's jurisdiction unlike an Exeter City Taxi who shouldn't. Doing so is breaking their licencing rules and invalidated their insurance.
